I painted this old desk with a design
by Kerry Trout.  Her original was on a
trunk, but I adapted it to suit my
surface.
Besides doing my own designs I also enjoy painting designs from other decorative
artists.  Here are some projects I am especially proud of.
This bench was a custom painted piece and
now sits in a cottage at Crystal Lake.  The
client wanted lilacs on it - I think it turned out
pretty good.
Betsie Lighthouse.  It was to commemorate
the 150th anniversary of the lighthouse. I did
this colored pencil rendering from a picture
my best friend, Deb Henkener took in June of
2007.
This is a flowerpot lamp I painted with a
Lodge Look design.  It's an old pattern, but if
anyone is interested let me know.  The lamp
kit is available from Cherry Tree Toy Co. and
works really great to turn any size flower pot
into a lamp.
Old Salem Transit Co.  - I painted this design
for Create and Decorate October 2007 issue.
 It's painted on a cane that was originally
intended to look like a snowman.  I made the
bottom of the cane into a rustic broom for the
witch to ride on.
