HOOT convention is over for another year. What a great show! Got to see a lot of my painting friends and it's always a bonus that my kids live in Columbus so I can visit with them as well.
My head is spinning with new ideas for projects. My Ezmerelda and the 2 Jacks ornaments were a best seller. They are painted on new wood ornament shapes from my friends at Cupboard Distributing.
I'll be heading back down to Ohio next month to teach my Fall Still Life at the Ohio Heirlooms of Tomorrow chapter in Wapakoneta. Looking forward to touching base with my good friends there.
Watch for the December issue of Crafts and Things. As you know, since Painting Magazine was discontinued, Crafts and Things has expanded their painting section in the magazine. I will have my log cabin ornament in that issue. It's painted flat on artist canvas and then cut out, folded and glued into a cabin shape. Too cute!
We're starting to feel a hint of fall in the air up here in Northern Michigan. The sunlight is beginning to soften and the some of the trees are starting to turn. I love fall...don't you?
